Kelly Landrigan, E-RYT 200 - Anusara Inspired

Poses. Philosophy. Fun! ... I'm not sure as to whether I found hatha yoga or it found me (probably a little of both), nevertheless it has been a wonderful relationship. I do know that I was at one time seeking a different type of physical endeavor, something different than what I had experienced in the past, something that would change my relationship to myself as a whole and to the world for the better.

My senior anusara teachers are Todd Norian and Ann Greene. I am continuously amazed by their beautiful use of language and theme to make their students feel great about life. The extent of their knowledge seems endless and their dedication to their students warms my heart. I have taken my anusara immersions and teacher training with them. I am honored to be an anusara inspired teacher.

My main philosophical focus is that of tantra, the shri vidya and rajanaka schools. Life is good. I love to reveal how yoga philosophy is fun and applicable to modern day life and can be a wonderful comfort during times of challenge. Why do we do yoga? To enjoy life, to feel good. At my class you can expect to be supported in your endeavor, to be offered the poses at varying depths that are best for your body in the moment, and please feel free to ask questions! I love answering questions or doing the research so I can have more information the next time I see you, so happy to do it.

Off the mat? I cook, I read, I read cookbooks, play hide and seek with my cats, wander around Chicago and dream about my next travel destination. How about you? I'd love for you to come to class and share...
