Rachel Durston - Childcare Worker

An Atlanta, GA native, I am a senior at Northwestern University.  I am studying Theatre and much of my background is in working with young people both on and off the stage.  I hope to one day lead a youth studio that integrates, art, yoga, dance, music and theatre.  Until that dream becomes a reality, I thoroughly enjoy working in Childcare at Generations between my classes, meetings and rehearsals.

I discovered Yoga several years ago and have returned to it many times, whether it be for a series of classes or falling into some poses that now live in my body during transition periods in my day.  It is not surprising then, that I find myself working in an atmosphere that values the connection between mind, body and spirit.  I appreciate and enjoy the calm and soothing energy when I am working with children.
