Yoga has been a transforming force in my life. My classes are designed to bring joy and happiness to the body and mind, and to put a smile inside your heart. I enjoy teaching and sharing a deep knowledge of yoga to my students. In my class, I believe in the enlightenment of the spirit and to bringing inspiration to ones daily life through the practice.
Meditation and the focus on the breath, are essential at the beginning of every class. This is the foundation of a healthy mental and spiritual harmony for inner peace. I teach how to relax and release stress by controlling your body and mind, challenging my students to build strength and to enhance their flexibility.
My teacher training through Moksha Yoga includes thesis work on yoga for kids. I studied with Daren Friesen (Moksha Yoga), Aadil Palkhivala, Tias Little and an apprenticed with Zoe Nitsun. My teaching is centered on the northshore, specializing in yoga for kids and teens. I focus on sharing the magic of yoga, blended with my own personal experiences, to take each student to the path of self-discovery, joy and happiness.
